In Nevada elections are overseen by the Nevada Secretary of State.

REGISTERING TO VOTE IN NEVADA:

  • Register online with a Nevada driver’s license, by mail or in person.

  • Voters must register by the Thursday preceding the 1st day of early voting.

PRIMARY RULES:

-Closed Primaries, meaning voters must vote in the primary of the party with which they are registered.

WAYS TO VOTE:

  • In Person on Election Day

  • Early (Offered at specific locations from October 20, 2018-November 2, 2018. More information available here.)

  • Absentee (Ballot requests by mail must receive request by voter’s local election office by 5:00pm on the seventh calendar day preceding an election.)
