REGISTERING TO VOTE IN Indiana:
Deadline to register for the 2018 General Election is October 9, 2018.
Open Primaries, meaning any registered voter can vote in any primary.
WAYS TO VOTE:
In Person on Election Day
Early (Officially considered “absentee in person” voting, you can vote in person at any county election board office beginning 28 days before an election.)
Absentee (Application to vote absentee by mail is available here. Absentee applications must be received by October 29, 2018. )
Know Before You Go:
ID is required to vote.
Valid forms include: Indiana driver license, Indiana photo ID card, Military ID or U.S. Passport is sufficient.
ID must be government issued and include a photo, your name, and an expiration date (must be current or have expired sometime after the last General Election). Some state school IDs are acceptable. Consult here for more info.
