Same Day Registration is available at a designated location in each town (though these may not coincide with polling places). When using an online or paper form, registration must be received by noon the day before a primary or 7 days before a general election.
Closed Primaries, meaning you must belong to a political party to vote in their primary.

KNOW BEFORE YOU GO:
ID is not required to vote.
Technically an ID is required, but in most cases you may sign an affidavit in lieu of presenting one.
The list of acceptable forms of ID is extensive. Form of ID must simply include the following: name and address, or name and signature, or, name and photograph. State IDs, paychecks, utility bills, and credit cards all qualify.
